Chinese-owned Ute and SUV maker Great Wall Motors is pitching both its media and creative accounts, AdNews can reveal.

While the pitch is still ongoing, the brand is close to a final decision, insiders say.

Creative incumbent The Hallway won the account after a competitive pitch in 2021. Prior the account was with Havas Melbourne for three years.

Media incumbent is Nunn Media.

GWM the world’s 10th largest auto manufacturer by market capitalisation, has since relaunching in Australia in 2016 built strong momentum

Last week the brand's latest campaign saw the Great Wall Motor Tank 300 front, centre, back and in pretty much every playing position on the footy field in a fleet of OOH launching GWM's partnership with the One New Zealand Warriors NRL team.

Last month the brand introduced the Cannon Alpha Hybrid to Australia via a TVC and integrated campaign.

Great Wall Motors had no comment.
