Foxtel's general manager of Fox, Cricket Matthew Weiss has resigned, AdNews can confirm.
The company reportedly conducted a inquiry into Weiss' alleged improper use of social media.
The inquiry was prompted by an investigation by independent news publication Crikey which showed Weiss was behind the @RealRagingBull social media account on X, formerly Twitter, attacking colleagues, rivals and peers.
Weiss joined Foxtel Group in 2011 and moved to Fox Sports in 2012. He became GM of Fox Cricket in 2017.
A Foxtel spokesperson confirmed to AdNews that the Fox Sports executive has resigned "to pursue other avenues".
