Foxtel has appointed former Cricket Australia and the Big Bash League general manager, Kim McConnie, as its new marketing director for sport.
Before Cricket Australia, McConnie chalked up 12 years of diverse marketing leadership experience within PepsiCo globally, particularly in sports marketing in the US.
McConnie will fill the role recently vacated by Adam Ballesty who departed Foxtel after six months.
Announcing the appointment today, Kieren Cooney, Foxtel’s chief sales and marketing officer said, “This is a key appointment for Foxtel and we are very excited that Kim will be joining the team. We are looking forward to her arrival next month.”
McConnie's appointment follows a slew of high profile exits from the business including Andy Lark, Adam Ballesty and Andrew Mulready.
