NOVA Entertainment CEO Peter Charlton said: “Survey 4 has been another great result for NOVA Entertainment where we remain the country’s most listened-to metro network, connecting with 6.4 million Australians every week.
"On FM alone, we added another 64,000 listeners becoming the only metro network reaching over 6 million people. Using GFK’s new Radio 360 methodology, we can also confirm that Nova is the country’s most streamed network with 760,000 connected listeners.
"This has been a fantastic set of results and a reflection of the huge amount of effort that everyone across NOVA Entertainment puts in every day.”
Duncan Campbell, ARN chief content officer said: “We’re thrilled with the consistently strong ratings we’ve seen this year, particularly in Australia’s two largest markets.
"Today, Kyle & Jackie O are celebrating an incredible 36 surveys in a row as Sydney’s #1FM Breakfast show, while in Melbourne, The Christian O’Connell Show has achieved 25 straight surveys as #1FM Breakfast.
"Maintaining the top spot across both markets for so many consecutive surveys is a huge achievement and highlights ARN’s ability to deliver compelling and relevant content listeners want to hear.”
Ciaran Davis, HT&E CEO & MD said: ”Today's results are testament to the dedication and hard work of all our teams nationwide, who consistently prioritise the audience and local community in every decision they make.
"ARN's strong ratings and ongoing growth, particularly in Sydney in the all-important 25-54 demographic, is something we're incredibly proud of.
"These results not only reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional content but also highlight how ARN is well ahead of any other audio provider when it comes to delivering the commercial solutions and business outcomes that our clients aspire to achieve.”
Nine Radio’s head of content, Greg Byrnes, said: “This is a stunning result for Nine Radio. Ray Hadley posts 150 consecutive survey wins; clear number one in Sydney and Melbourne, and even more Australians turning to our live and local content. The Breakfast, Morning and Football teams in Sydney and Melbourne in particular have recorded extraordinary results.”
“And across Total Audio, we have a record number of listeners for Survey 4 – but we don't take the success for granted and thank our listeners who engage with us each day.”
