Founder and CEO of digital agency Holler Australia, Mike Hill, is departing the business after 10 years at the helm.
The IPMG-owned agency will now be lead by managing director, Merran Morton. Hill started his career in the London office 17 years ago as a junior flash developer and founded the Sydney office.
He told AdNews that this is one of the hardest decisions he's ever made. “I've gone from flash designer to CEO and it's time to try and do it all again,” he says. “Holler was my baby and I'm leaving it in great hands,” he added. While it is unclear what venture Hill is about to embark on, he outlined that it will be more in the product design space.
Founded more than 10 years ago, Holler Australia now has clients on the books such as Audi, Blackmores, Heineken and Nestlé. Morton says: “As Founder, Mike has played a crucial role in making Holler what it is today. With recent wins and a strong new direction in play we’re excited about the future as we embark on the next stage of Holler’s growth expanding on Mike’s legacy.”
IPMG's CEO, Kevin Slaven, added that after Hill's 10-year contribution to Holler the business fully support his will to go and pursue all the ideas and dreams that have been put on hold while he focused on getting Holler to where it is today. “We thank Mike for all the hard work and wish him all the best for his next adventure.”
