MELBOURNE: Fosters Group is on the hunt for a marketing director to replace Peter Sinclair, who is to head up marketing and commercial development for the African and Eastern business.
Sinclair, who will relocate to Dubai, has been with Carlton United Breweries for 12 years and was named marketing director 18 months ago. During his tenure he has overseen the launch of Pure Blonde and the growth of VB and Corona.
John Pollaers, managing director of CUB, said: "I know I speak for the entire team in saying he will be missed but this locates him closer to his family and at the same time affords a number of professional opportunities.
"Peter has made a significant contribution to the business, achieving strong results for our brands and leading a young and talented team.”
Sinclair will take up his position in Dubai in November but will continue to support CUB until a new marketing manager is appointed. An international search has commenced for his replacement.
