Former Vodafone CMO Kim Clarke has resurfaced at Energy Australia as chief customer officer, the energy provider has confirmed.
Clarke has been in the role since June overseeing marketing and customer experience. She replaced the utility firm's former top marketer David Hamilton who left last year.
Clarke left Vodafone in October last year mid-way through the telco's creative agency review.
A spokesperson for Energy Australia said Clarke is responsible for "ensuring the business is connected to the customer, drawing on customer insight and feedback".
She will also lead Energy Australia’s product and services program, pricing, campaigns and sales activities.
“The energy sector is going through a period of significant change driven by technology and retail innovations and consumer interests. EnergyAustralia is in a unique position to lead this change, and I'm proud to be part of the team which will aim to do just this,” said Clarke.
Energy Australia is based in Melbourne, but it's not known if Clarke has relocated.
