John Gutteridge, former CEO of J. Walter Thompson and Mirum Asia Pacific, has launched Soffiah.ai, an AI SaaS platform designed to transform marketing for small-to-medium sized businesses and emerging brands.

Gutteridge, teaming up with Data Scientist and AI Engineer Zoe Zhang, alongside Technical Lead Claire Huang, developed Soffiah.ai to help businesses generate advertising content, social media posts, blogs, emails and streamlining content.

Soffiah guides users through brand development using its proprietary Brand Canvas. This helps businesses articulate product positioning, brand identity, and target audience, forming a strong strategic foundation.

“We invested significant time designing a complex schema and manually training Soffiah on thousands of critical data points,” said Gutteridge.

“Inspired by proven brand planning tools and processes, the AI is self-learning and improving with every interaction.”

“Marketing without strategy is vacuous and ineffective, and many smaller businesses just aren’t equipped with the marketing experience and know-how, and can’t afford to hire agencies either.

“So, with Soffiah, we’re trying to level the playing field using AI to give these businesses access to global best practice and affordable asset creation.”

Soffiah has already gained traction among a diverse range of businesses, from agencies to larger organisations managing multiple brands, such as PharmaCare Australia.

Ashley Smith, GM of PharmaCare, said the brand marketing team has been using Soffiah for several months to create high-quality, cost-effective, on-brand digital content at lightning speed.

“With each asset we generate, the platform improves, delivering increasingly better results,” said Smith.
