Independent Bastion today launched DBX, a specialist unit within Bastion Digital, designed to fast-track innovation and growth for digitally-driven brands.

Led by former AnalogFolk Australia partners Matt Robinson (managing director – DBX) and Ben Hourahine (chief strategy officer – DBX), the new unit redefines how digitally-driven brands build relevance, engagement and accelerated growth.

DBX leverages Bastion Digital’s rapidly expanding capabilities across technology, AI, design, and consulting to empower businesses to seamlessly bridge their brand and digital experiences, unlocking accelerated market growth.

DBX also plugs into Bastion’s integrated suite of existing capabilities—including advertising, PR, production, research, partnerships, media, and experiential marketing—to directly support start-ups, scale-ups, innovators, and digitally ambitious brands seeking to accelerate growth and enhance market impact.

“We are incredibly excited to bring DBX to life under the Bastion Digital capability," said Tim Den Braber, MD, Bastion Digital.

"Following a fantastic acquisition of AnalogFolk Australia early last year, Matt, Ben and their team bring us additional strength in this cutting-edge area, enhancing our market-leading integrated offering.

"DBX positions us perfectly to drive innovative growth for digital first businesses and deliver unmatched value for our clients.”

Matt Robinson, managing director – DBX, said DBX is specifically designed for businesses that are ready to innovate, lead, and accelerate their growth through digital.

"Whether it’s giving start-ups digital-first foundations, helping innovators bridge the gap between brand and experience, or supporting industry leaders in shaping the future, DBX offers tailored solutions to drive measurable growth and innovation," Robinson said.

"I’m also incredibly excited to partner with Tim Den Braber and the talented Bastion Digital team, who have driven exceptional growth over the past 12 months, including pioneering AI initiatives such as the recent Google News Initiative AI workshops."
