Bev Bury will be joining Flinders University on May 15 as its new chief marketing officer.
She is currently director of marketing operations at the University of Adelaide where she is focused on the people, processes, and technology that power the overall marketing and recruitment strategy.
Prior to working in the higher education sector, Bury spent 13 years in tourism in a wide range of leadership roles.
She developed marketing and distribution strategies for both Tourism Northern Territory and the South Australia Tourism Commission, where she led the evolution of its brand in 2018/9.
Bury is a passionate marketer with an inherent understanding of the importance of customer experience in optimising student loads at every point of the decision-making process.
She also spent eight years working for advertising agencies in London before moving to Australia.
