The first radio ratings for the year have landed, with Nova taking over Kiis1065 in the top spot in drive.
The figures, covering January 19 to February 29, show Nova96.9 climbed 1.1% to take the top spot in drive, followed by 2GB, ABC Sydney and Kiis1065.
For overall listenership, Nine’s 2GB retained its top spot in Sydney, up 1.1%. In Melbourne, 3AW also took the top spot.
Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s chief programming and marketing officer: “The Nova Network secured the highest cumulative listeners result (3,735,800). We’ve never had so many listeners tuning into the network and combined with Nova 96.9 Sydney, securing a record cume for the station with 1,123,000, overall it’s a great start to the year.”
