Fetch TV extends BBC Studios partnership

Fetch TV and BBC Studios have extended their channel partnership agreement covering six BBC channels.

The deal ensures Fetch subscribers ongoing access to a range of BBC content, covering existing brands BBC UKTV, BBC Earth, CBeebies, BBC Kids and BBC Brit, and BBC Drama, only available on Fetch.

The channels will sit alongside BBC News and Britbox, which continue to be available on Fetch. 

BBC Drama will be home to a collection of British drama, such as Death in ParadiseCall The Midwife, Silent Witness, The Sixth CommandmentHappy Valley and Unforgotten.

Fetch TV's chief content and commercial officer Sam Hall said this deal demonstrates that Fetch remains committed to offering a true aggregation model across a very broad range of content options.

"This includes Free-to-Air, FAST and subscription channels, free and subscription streaming services, transactional video on-demand, and pay-per-view events," she said.
