Italian confectionery giant Ferrero Group has ts media account out to pitch as part of a competitive global review, AdNews can reveal.
The Ferrero account includes 35 brands including Kinder, Nutella, Ferrero Rocher and Tic Tac. In 2019 Campaign reported the account to be worth between $400 million and $950 million globally and $15 million in Australia.
The account last went to pitch in Australia in 2019, where WPP’s Mindshare won. Prior to that Omnicom’s PHD held it for 10 years.
Mindshare declined to comment.
Most holding groups hold the account in a different markets, it is assumed all holco's are interested in the Australian arm.
According to Campaign Publicis' remit includes Ferrero Italy, China and the UK. Dentsu holds Germany, Japan, South Korea and Mexico.
