One of Australia’s most senior marketing execs, Mark Reinke, will join PwC's CMO Advisory Practice Board from next month.
AdNews reported in May that Reinke had flagged his mid-year departure from Suncorp after 14 years in the business. At the time, he said he was leaving “to pursue new opportunities”.
Prior to Suncorp Reinke managed Telstra’s consumer mass marketing division.
PwC CCO Russel Howcroft said Reinke’s appointment would “add tremendous firepower” to the CMO offering.
“Mark will bring expertise in the changing role of technology in marketing along with the management of multiple brands in the same portfolio, which has been a significant focus of his recent role at Suncorp,” he explained.
Reinke said he is looking forward to working with the talent at PwC "at a time when marketing is pivotal to delivering earnings growth”.
“New platforms and capabilities are enabling deeply accountable and engaging marketing campaigns and PwC is uniquely positioned to leverage these platforms to solve client problems,” he said.
Howcroft said the CMO Advisory Board has played an important role in PwC’s rapid growth, since its launch at the start of 2017.
The CMO Advisory focuses on marketing, brand and media strategy, operations and structure and investment analysis and optimisation to help organisations drive more consistent growth through more accountable and strategic marketing.
