Aperitif Agency, a recently launched digital marketing agency in Melbourne, has expanded with former global e-commerce marketing manager of Frank Body, Isabelle Romeo.

She will be teaming with her husband and Aperitif founder, ex-Airwallex alumni Joe Romeo to take on JVC, James Halliday Wine Companion, and Harrolds as key accounts for the new brand.

Aperitif's journey began as a side hustle by Joe Romeo, fueled by his passion for delivering impactful SEO strategies for the likes of Ford, BP and Bupa while at WPP’s MindShare.

Isabelle Romeo also worked at Mindshare, leading the performance marketing strategy for Bupa in Australia and the UK.

After experiencing burn-out as an in-house executive with a large tech conglomerate in the UK, Joe launched Aperitif in Melbourne.

Seven months later, Aperitif has appointed Isabelle as head of performance marketing. Tasked with growing and improving the performance marketing operations of the business, she has closed the gap in the family-run agency as it goes to a full-service digital marketing provider.

Joe says the agency get the most energy when it takes on a client who's traditionally had a rough time with digital agencies.

"We completely turn it around in the first three months. Both from a results and delivery perspective," he says.

Aperitif distinguishes itself as a family owned and operated agency, with a unique approach acting as the virtual CMO for businesses seeking personalised marketing solutions without the need for a full in-house team.

Isabelle says what sets Aperitif apart is its deep integration within its clients' teams, fostering a collaborative environment akin to being part of the squad.

"This close partnership has led to remarkable successes, including our recent collaborations with prestigious brands such as JVC, James Halliday Wine Companion, and Harrolds," she says.

Aperitif Agency has its sights set on further expansion, particularly in the UK market, where it has recently secured multiple new clients.
