Sports betting and gambling company Entain Group, owner of Neds and Ladbrokes brands, has put its creative account up for grabs.
The incumbent The Monkeys, part of Accenture Interactive, has held the account since 2021 and is believed to not be interested in retaining the business.
The agency's parent company, Accenture Song, won Tabcorps agency of record pitch, in January. Tabcorp is Australia's largest gambling company.
The last campaign launched by The Monkeys was in March, a brand campaign challenging punters to Take on the Fun, building on the brand’s existing Ladbroke it! platform.
Analysts estimate that $300 million is spent on advertising gambling in Australia each year and Entain has a large slice of that.
Entain's media account is held by independent Atomic 212.
