The major political parties are off and racing with ad spend.
The 2022 national election, announced at the wekeend for May 21, sees Clive Palmer's United Australia Party well out in front.
According to Nielsen, ad spend in print, radio, TV, digital, but exluding outdoor advertising, so far in April:
- Greens: $42,991
- ALP: $472,247
- Libs: $103,265
- UAP: $3,496,656
The Liberal Party was quick to capitalise on Labor Leader Anthony Albanese not being able to recall the unemployment rate.
