Advertising Council Australia (ACA) and the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) will host Inside Effectiveness - an event featuring Effie Award-winning CMOs - in Melbourne on May 28 and Sydney on June 6.
The two-hour sessions will help brands and agencies improve the efficacy of their advertising campaigns, with Arnott’s Group CMO Jenni Dill and ALDI marketing director Jenny Melhuish sharing their secrets to creating an effectiveness culture that generates consistent and tangible business results.
Based on ACA's ‘Work Behind The Work’ sessions, the events will spotlight 2023 Grand Effie-winners Arnott’s and Saatchi & Saatchi, who’ll take attendees behind the scenes to reveal what happened with their successful entry, 'How Little Moments made big bikkies for Arnott's’.
Aldi and BMF Australia, winners of 20 Effies since 2016, will share their insights on fostering a 'Good Different' culture of effectiveness.
Brand strategists joining Dill and Melhuish on stage include BMF’s executive planning director Anna Bollinger and BMF's head of effectiveness Hannah McHard, along with MD of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia and chief client officer of The Neighbourhood Toby Aldred.
Effie judge and chief strategy officer, Fran Clayton will host each event and moderate a panel on boosting marketing ROI following the Arnott’s and Aldi sessions.
ACA CEO Tony Hale said there has never been a more important time to demonstrate ROI, but it’s astounding that many marketers and agencies don’t have the right metrics in place to do so.
“Inside Effectiveness will bring together some of Australia’s most awarded Effie entrants to examine how a culture of effectiveness can be embedded into relationships, ensuring that marketing and advertising actually work and impacts to the business can be measured," he said.
AANA CEO Joshua Faulks said this is unmissable event for marketers who want to know what it takes to deliver creative, effective and award-winning campaigns.
“You will walk away with practical tools and advice to develop campaigns that drive measurable commercial results, as well as insights into how to create your own marketing effectiveness culture," he said.
