Manufacturer DuluxGroup has put its master media account out to pitch.
The account includes media strategy, planning and buying across all brands including Dulux Paints (including British Paints), Woodcare (including Cabot’s), Selleys, Yates and B&D Doors.
Industry insiders say incumbent OMD, plus GroupM’s EssenceMediacom and IPG’s Initiative have been invited to pitch.
The account last went to pitch in 2020, then CEO of OMD Australia Aimee Buchanan said “DuluxGroup and their iconic brands have been a part of the OMD family for over thirty years."
DuluxGroup confirmed to AdNews a closed-door evaluation of its media strategy, planning and buying services, as the current contract period with its current provider comes to an end.
“In fairness to all potential vendors, we are committed to strict confidentiality throughout this review process. We anticipate finalising our assessment in early May, at which point we will provide more information,” said a DuluxGroup spokesperson.
