Disney has sold all its advertising spots for the Oscars due to start this morning Sydney time (1100 AEDT).

The entertainment group reportedly was asking $US1.6 million to $US2.1 million for 30 seconds during the 95th Academy Awards broadcast.

This is down on last year’s $1.7 million to $2.2 million when 16.62 million viewers tuned in.

Among the advertisers is Paramount +, Starbucks, Amazon, Snapchat, Sony and Dr. Pepper.

Rita Ferro, president at Disney Advertising: “Our sponsors showed up in full force, across every major category with new and custom creative, joining a spectacular evening celebrating the biggest achievements in storytelling and the moments that bring us together.

“The Oscars is a cultural phenomenon at the centre of creativity and entertainment — and with Jimmy Kimmel back at the helm as host, our all-star production team is set to bring the magical night to movie fans, everywhere.”
