Disney removed all of its channels from subscription TV platform Foxtel as it continues to consolidate its content on its own streaming service.
The move sees Disney cut The Disney Channel and Disney Junior from Foxtel.
It had already removed the Disney Movie channel in November following the launch of Disney+ last year.
A Foxtel spokesperson confirmed that the move had been anticipated.
"As anticipated, following the launch of Disney+ and consistent with our confirmation last year that Disney content would progressively come off Foxtel commencing with Movies in November 2019, the Disney Channel and Disney Junior will also be leaving Foxtel at the end of February," the spokesperson says.
"Foxtel will continue to deliver a wide range of kids content on popular channels such as CBeebies, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Cartoon Network and Boomerang as well as the ability to access ABC Kids on iQ3 and iQ4 set top boxes."
The content giant has also ended its short-term contract with Nine-owned streaming service Stan, as it looks to secure its content library in Australia.
Disney declined to comment.
