Global digital agency DEPT has appointed Diphaa Nair director of strategic alliances for APAC.
The appointment comes on the back of the recent acquisition of a Adobe DX specialist firm Tekno Point.
Nair, based out of Melbourne, will be working closely with India based Tekno Point/DEPT team to expand the agency’s Adobe Practice globally.
She will report jointly to Vishnu Mohan, chief growth officer for DEPT APAC and Evan Davey, founding partner of Two Bulls/DEPT, to drive the commercial development across its set of offerings both in Australia as well as other parts of APAC region.
Nair comes from a strong technology background and was most recently with Adobe, where she spent over six years as the head of partners for South Asia. Before this, she worked with CA Technologies as a channel director and spent four years with MphasiS, a HP company.
Davey said: "We're thrilled to have Diphaa join DEPT. With more than 20 years of experience in digital technologies, customer experience and business transformation, Diphaa will be focusing on our regional strategic alliances and building a holistic approach to provide the tools businesses in the region need to deliver pioneering digital experiences."
Nair said: “I'm happy to join DEPT with its pioneering spirit and boutique culture.
"Both Two Bulls/DEPT and Tekno Point/DEPT have exciting, cutting-edge offerings with great potential in the industry. I look forward to working with Vishnu, James, Evan and the Tekno Point/DEPT leadership team to manage their Strategic Alliance proposition in APAC.”
