Dentsu Group has announced today that Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has changed its name to Dentsu International Limited.

The announcement was made following approval from the Dentsu Aegis Network board of directors.

Dentsu International is the consolidated subsidiary that oversees the Japanese-owned holding company's international business operations.

Dentsu International will operate under the Dentsu brand name.

The international business will operate alongside its business in Japan and will unite more than 66,000 people globally within the Dentsu brand.

The rebrand of its international business has been rumoured for some time since announcing at the end of the year that the Japanese operations would be now named Dentsu Group.

The move marks a new chapter for the international business, following the arrival of Wendy Clark earlier in September as global CEO.

“This represents an important milestone in the evolution of our international business as we build on Dentsu’s rich legacy of innovation and industry leadership along with the dynamic growth story of Dentsu Aegis Network," says Clark.

"Our business provides our clients and our people with the best of both worlds, helping them to achieve meaningful progress against a backdrop of unprecedented change and disruption.”
