LG Electronics Australia has appointed Angus Jones as its new general manager of marketing.
Jones joins from a role at Dell where he was the global marketing director overseeing global client sales and marketing strategy across consumer and B2B.
He has more than 25 years' experience in marketing, working across consumer electronics, telecommunications and IT at brands including Hewlett-Packard and Optus.
“As a great believer in work and life balance, it is especially important to me to be working with a brand that focuses on technology that helps to make people’s lives better,” Jones said.
“I am especially looking forward to collaborating with the team and bringing new ideas to the table in support of that goal.”
LG Australia managing director Youngik Lee said the business is pleased “to have a marketeer of Angus' calibre” with experience spanning local and global roles, join LG Australia.
