Deakin’s Young Bullets graduate advertising showcase returns September 27.
Tickets are on sale now for students and industry professionals to enjoy a face-to-face networking event showcasing adland’s newest arrivals.
The Deakin Young Bullets event is a student led networking night facilitating connections between industry professionals and Melbourne’s Deakin advertising students.
Psembi Kinstan, DDB Group executive creative director, features as the guest speaker on the night, providing insight into his experience and success within the advertising industry.
The night offers graduates the unique opportunity to showcase their portfolios and initiate industry contacts whilst also providing industry professionals an insight into the emerging art directors, copywriters, account managers and strategists looking to embark on their journey into adland.
Last year's guest speaker Jardin Anderson, head of creative at MONA - Museum of Old and New Art, said she felt optimistic for the future of commercial creativity following the event.
"This next generation of creatives aren't just ready to help bring fresh thinking to agencies," Anderson said.
"They'll help change the face of our industry. With Deakin's program opening the door to a broad array of students, I see a future where the industry can progress towards something that better reflects the society and culture of today."
