DDB Sydney has promoted Lisa Hauptmann from group business director to managing partner – McDonald’s.
Her promotion is a recognition of the contribution she has made to the DDB Sydney business and the long-standing relationship with McDonald’s.
“Lisa has done an amazing job in her time with us. She is a natural leader who applies a huge amount of energy and intelligence into everything she does," DDB Sydney managing director Priya Patel says.
"Her optimism and can-do attitude has earned the respect of our people and our clients. She is also incredibly passionate about the work we output and the people in the agency."
Hauptmann has more than 20 years of industry experience and began her career at DDB in the 90s before re-joining the agency in 2014.
She has also worked for Fox Studios, News Corp, BWM Dentsu and Freedom Foods.
“I look forward to this next step and continuing to drive the McDonald’s business into the future. Five years and my passion equals that of day one," Hauptmann says.
“It’s a brand filled with opportunity and the team are equally inspiring."
Hauptmann is the latest person within DDB to be promoted, joining Tara Ford, Ben Welsh, Damon Stapleton, Matt Chandler, Tim Woolford and Tommy Cehak who have all been elevated recently in the agency.
