DDB Sydney has appointed Vanessa Boueyres managing partner leading the Westpac account.
Boueyres has 20 years’ experience in marketing and agencies. Prior to joining DDB, she was head of marketing at designer furniture B-Corp company Koskela.
She was also head of marketing at Woolworths owned Macro Wholefoods Market and head of brand communications at Woolworths Food Co.
"Boueyres is laser focused on effectiveness, restless in her ambition, deeply passionate about creativity, and fun to be around. Her experience both client side and ours makes her a real asset. Her impact is already being felt and I can’t wait for what’s next," DDB Sydney CEO Sheryl Marjoram said.
On the agency side, she was a managing partner at M&C Saatchi Group where she led Tourism Australia and the agency’s global ‘Come and Say G’Day’ campaign.
Prior to that Boueyres was GM and head of account management at Y&R and began her career in her native Paris at TBWA. She has worked on brands including Nivea, Danone, and BWS.
Boueyres will lead the DDB's Westpac account, one of the agency's largest teams, responsible for setting the brand strategy and fully integrated creative and production services.
Boueyres said the opportunity to work at DDB with Marjoram and the leadership team and on the premier Westpac account was an opportunity too good to pass up.

The appointment is effective immediately.
