DDB Sydney appoints Dan Saunders and Jack Nunn as creative partners

DDB has appointed award-winning duo Dan Saunders and Jack Nunn as creative partners.

The pair will be leading the Macca’s creative output as the brand enters their 50th year of partnership with DDB Sydney in 2021.

Throughout their careers Saunders and Nunn have worked at leading agencies and brands across Australia the US and Europe. Saunders has worked on blue-chip clients including Cadbury, Virgin Media, Sony, Netflix, Unilever and Amazon.

Nunn was one of the first hires at Special Group in Australia helping to grow the creative team twofold and has worked across several key accounts including the highly acclaimed Uber Eats ‘Tonight I’ll be eating’ campaign.

Saunders: “The opportunity to help shape a brand as iconic as Macca’s is pretty special, seconded only by working with the exceptional people at DDB Sydney. I’m thrilled to be given this opportunity by Tara and Ben.”

Nunn: “I can’t wait to get stuck in. I’ll miss all the legends at Special and enjoyed every minute of my six years there. But I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining such a talented, ambitious team at DDB. The opportunity to work alongside great people on a great brand is really exciting.”

DDB Sydney chief creative officer Tara Ford: “The combination of Dan and Jack is going to be nothing short of dynamite. Joining the already talented team on the account, I can’t wait to see what they can do and where they can creativity take this iconic brand.”

The creative hires follow a record-breaking year for new business at DDB with the agency onboarding Coles, Kmart, Dulux, McDonald’s Social, Johnson & Johnson, Netflix and LinkedIn.
