Independent Daylight Agency has gone into administration owing money to staff and trade.
Michael Hird of Cor Cordis has been appointed liquidator for Daylight Agency.
The advertising, digital and social, marketing, PR and reputation management business was formed in 2017 when Icon Communications merged with Chris + Geoff.
Executive creative directors Geoffrey Corbett and Chris Mitchell departed the agency in August and restarted their creative agency Chris + Geoff.
According to documents lodged with corporate regulator ASIC, staff are owed money including annual leave.
Assets are calculated at $186,526 and the company has a shortfall in funds of $1.19 million.
The Australian Tax Office is owed $235,680.
Managing director Chris Gray is listed as being owed $99,810.
Among industry players, 72andsunny is listed as an unsecured creditor and owed $154,740.
A general meeting of the members of the company on January 28 resolved that the company be wound up.
