David Jones starts Christmas with ‘A World of Wonder’

David Jones marked the launch of its 184th Christmas season nationwide with the reveal of its annual animated Christmas Windows at the Elizabeth Street Flagship, and the unveiling of ‘A World of Wonder’ Christmas campaign.

Launching alongside the Christmas Windows, David Jones celebrates the arrival of the ‘Festival of Wonder’ event, held across 11 stores nationally until Sunday November 13.

For 2022, the animated Christmas Windows are a playful depiction of the joys of gift giving at Christmas time.

Founded on a poem, ‘There’s a world of wonder in every gift’ this year’s window installations are an ode to giving, receiving and dreaming up gifts for friends, family, loved ones, a teacher or even a neighbour.

David Jones chief executive officer, Scott Fyfe said: “Christmas at David Jones is the highlight of our year, and a magical experience our customers have celebrated with us since 1838. We’re thrilled to be marking the start of the festive season with our annual animated window display at the Elizabeth Street Flagship and look forward to celebrating the World of Wonder across stores nationally in the coming weeks.”
