Mash, a creative services platform, has appointed Tanya Drerup to the newly created role of chief product officer, while Ollie Salisbury takes on the role of head of talent acquisition and community.

Working towards the goal of evolving Mash into a global virtual studio and project management platform, Drerup and Salisbury will look to prioritise both client and Masher needs, as the company consolidates 16 off-the-shelf systems into one platform.

Prior to joining Mash, Drerup held senior product positions at FrankieOne, MYOB and carsales.com.au, while Salisbury has previously worked at Ento, BCG Digital Ventures and Scout.

Drerup said she is very excited to take on the role of CPO at Mash and spearhead its technology revolution by immersing herself in Mash's client and user insights and feedback in order to truly understand their pain points and goals.

"Current advancements in AI and data make it a very exciting time in the creative industry," she said.

"Harnessing the power of these solutions and deep diving into what our customers are prioritising during this unique economic time will ultimately allow us to build a platform that will exceed expectations of our creative output, project management and operational efficiency.”

Salisbury said one of the things that drew him to Mash was its mission to empower the creative world to work for themselves.

"Through my new position, I hope to do exactly this by attracting premium talent who are looking to hold the reins of their own careers and think beyond set hours, a set location and a narrow lens of responsibility," he said.

"Mash is about exciting, holistic thinking and technology is a crucial part of this ecosystem.”

Drerup and Sailsbury join Mash's remote working head office team, based across six cities in two continents.
