Convo Ink has appointed Lena Rapley into the newly created role of head of sales as the content marketing platform drives business growth.

Rapley joins Convo Ink from ARN, where for more than 12 years, she held multiple leadership roles including head of client solutions and commercial partnerships director. Most recently working as independent sales director, she held commercial responsibility for ARN’s radio and digital strategies across Australia's independent agencies.

As leader of Convo Ink’s national commercial team, Rapley will be responsible for cross-screen content solutions, attention analytics platform and dynamic optimisation capabilities. Rapley will also nurture agency and client direct relationships, driving targeted content solutions that connect brands with customers across Australia's editorial sites.

Aaron Macarthur, CEO and founder at Convo Ink, said: “To have someone of Lena’s calibre join our team speaks to the momentum within content marketing and the strength of our technology platform. Lena brings an exceptional mix of executive maturity, marketing savvy and hands on experience in delivering world class content campaigns. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board.”

Rapley said: “It's a rare opportunity to work in an Australian start-up which is showing global leadership in a growth channel. I have seen the market shift toward content led solutions first hand and the results these campaigns deliver for clients. I was immediately impressed with how the Convo Ink technology can scale content and give a real time picture of campaign performance.”

Launched in September last year, Convo Ink is a smart content marketing engine connecting marketers, content producers and publishers to deliver branded content and audiences with precision and scale. In April, it launched a proprietary audience measurement metric for marketers and agencies to optimise content marketing campaigns based on attention.

Rapley’s appointment is effective immediately.
