Compass Studio rebrands

Independent digital marketing and PR agency Compass Studio as sprung into the new financial year with a different looking brand and message.

The rebrand, led by creative agency; TMRRW, is redefining what it means to be a brand for good and better reflects its new mission: Compass exists to amplify the impact of world-bettering brands.

Gone are the "traditional" colours of sustainability and neutral earthy tones, and bright and impactful colours are in.

Co-founder and co-director, Natalie Dean-Weymark, said Compass Studio's new branding is a sign of how the market has changed and how the agency has changed since launching in 2017.

"In a purpose-driven marketing landscape awash with neutrals, the new Compass Studio is bold and bright," she said.

"But to us, looking at our peers and the client partners who we get the privilege of working with each day – the future is bright, but it will take bold action to get us collectively where we need to be for people and the planet."

Founder and creative director of TMRRW, Nick Hoskin, said as everyone enters a new era of purpose-driven brands, it's those leading the way who recognise that in order to remain relevant, their messaging and visual language need to evolve inline with the shifting expectations from businesses and consumers.

"Just being 'good' is no longer good enough – to rise above the noise, brands need to articulate their story in a way that's meaningful and valuable, while backing it up through their actions," said Hoskin.

"Compass Studio has always excelled at the latter, which made it a pleasure to work so closely with them in helping them refine their brand positioning, story and visual identity.”

Compass Studio is known for its work with purpose-driven brands, including Patagonia, Seabin Project and Thankyou. Compass is an independent, certified B Corp, carbon-positive agency specialising in amplifying impact for ethically governed, environmentally responsible brands.

The brand previously specialised in public relations, digital content strategy, and digital, social and performance marketing; however, over recent years has expanded its service portfolio to include partnerships, media buying, influencer marketing, events, and internal communication strategy.

Dean-Weymark said in 2023, the agency has already had the opportunity to work with some of its dream partners.

“And we will announce the appointment of a much-anticipated General Manager for Compass Studio in the coming weeks – so the future is looking big and bright!"
