Billionaire mining magnate and aspiring politician Clive Palmer has started spending again on political advertising.
Like last federal election, he is getting in early, even before a poll date is known.
A front page advertisment in today's Sydney Morning Herald, with Palmer's signature yellow colour, takes aim at Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and ASIC chair James Shipton, who was investigated for expense claims relating to tax advice.
The ad is "authorised by Clive Palmer".
In 2019, analysis put his spend at more than $80 million.
The UAP ran candidates in all 150 House of Representatives seats but failed to secure a seat.
