Being a media executive can be all about hard work and no fun, so our media bachelors are breaking the nexus and turning the spotlight on themselves as they battle it out for the Media Bachelor of the Year crown.
Following the announcement of the finalists on October 9, we are giving you more insight into who these chaps are.
We've got Brisbane-based Rafe Berding from GlobalX Legal Solutions; Melbourne-based Tom Cole from Big Mobile; and Sydney-based Nick Rutherford from Universal McCann.
Our readers have the difficult task of narrowing down their votes, so here's a closer look at the contenders in our Q&A with them below:
Also, don't forget you can vote for one bachelor per day but the good news is that voting closes 16 November so you can always vote again tomorrow.
Here's what Rafe had to say:
Why should you be CLEO Media Bachelor of the Year?
I fit the brief, I am your ultimate campaign.
What would you do to impress a girl on a date?
Take her horse riding on the family property.
What is your life motto?
The future is my unknown paradise.
Here's what Nick had to say:
Why should you be Cleo Media Bachelor of the Year?
I'm a country boy at heart moved to the big smoke to pursue a career in Media. I've got the job, now it's time to find the girl.
What would you do to impress a girl on a date?
It's not about what I want, it's about what she wants. I'd make sure I knew what she liked and planned accordingly.
What is your life motto?
Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present.
Here's what Tom had to say:
Why should you be Cleo Media Bachelor of the Year?
The only thing I love more than mobile is the company of a great woman. My friends would say I'm a great mixture of strong (with less than 10% body fat) and sensitive (I don't like being teased about wearing sockettes with low cut shoes). I feel my IT background also 'servers' me well as a boyfriend.
What would you do to impress a girl on a date?
Pick her up from her house on my Harley, and then cheekily ask if I can take her to a rooftop bar where the drinks are free (i.e. my balcony)
What is your life motto?
With this face, it'll be alright ;-)
There are 12 eligible media bachelors in this year's Cleo Media Bachelor - and it's down to a public vote to decide the winner. So get voting.
