Cider ad watched more than 60 million times

A CrossFit-competing Grandpa has been watched more than 60 million times in a Facebook commercial for US cider brand, Smith and Forge hard cider.

In the ad, we see CrossFit Games competitor Kenneth go undercover as an average 84-year-old man, taking on beefed up weightlifters at Muscle Beach in California.

The badass Grandpa shocked crowds when he out-lifted every bodybuilder there. Watch the video below:

The ad, which has been watched 60,331,738 times and counting, was concepted and produced by Thrillist's in-house video team. It's part of a campaign titled Thrillist and Smith & Forge Present Hard Won, which has included a six-part sponsored content series.
