CHEP Network has launched CHEP Commerce, a new division specialisong in developing retail focused solutions to leverage data, creativity and commerce.

It will be led by recently appointed National Creative Director, Kirsty Gavin, and National Operations Director, Mary
Anne ‘Mez’ Truong.

Gavin brings 17 years’ experience to the agency, having worked on clients including Bonds, Nestle, Coca Cola, Virgin, Nestle, Westfield, Toyota, Air New Zealand and Pernod Ricard, during stints at agencies including Publicis Mojo, Droga5, Saatchi and Saatchi, BMF and Host Havas.

Truong’s new role is a promotion from her most recent position as Operations Director on Samsung at CHEP Network, where she has been instrumental in operationalising one of APAC’s largest full-service accounts by streamlining highly complex processes and workflows to drive seamless connectivity across 11 marketing disciplines, from creative, content, social through to media, data, tech services, and everything in between.

Gavin McLeod, Chief Creative Officer at CHEP: “While we’ve always been in the business of selling our clients’ products
and services, there’s been a significant shift in how and where commerce takes place thanks to the proliferation of digital
platforms and the MarTech that underpins them.

"We’ve assembled a specialist team to ensure that our creativity is being applied to not only build brands, but engage customers in attention grabbing and relevant ways, wherever they shop.

“We have great ambitions for CHEP Commerce to build innovative, interesting solutions in what we’re seeing as a new retail
economy, and I'm thrilled to have incredible people of Kirsty and Mez’s calibre, talent and ambition leading the way.”

Kirsty Gavin: “I am thrilled to be in the CHEP family, particularly in the context of broadening both our business offering and
creative capabilities.

"CHEP Commerce promises to deliver on the idea of new economy retail placing ideas and creativity at the heart of our problem solving. In collaboration with Gavin, Glen and Andrew, I look forward to bringing this thinking to life across our Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices.”

Mary Anne Truong: “We have a simple belief that how we work is as important as the work we do, and we believe that
philosophy will drive inordinate value to CHEP Commerce’s clients, both large and small. I’m thrilled to put that philosophy into practice in partnership with Kirsty, Gavin and the wider team.”

Joining Truong and Gavin are a raft of new hires in the Sydney and Melbourne creative departments, including Writer Grace
Lemech and Art Directors Torika Taylor, Annabelle Gaspar and Dom Roselli, as well as Motion Designer Austin Hupfau.
