Adonix, a cartop media platform, has launched with high-definition display screens mounted on rideshare, taxi and other transit vehicles.
The service combines physical infrastructure with proprietary real-time tracking and display software, allowing ads to be delivered with precision.
“Adonix isn’t just selling ad space, we’re selling mobility - highly targeted, mobile campaign delivery,” says Ishan Cross, co-founder of Adonix.
“With geofencing technology, advertisers can pinpoint specific zones where ads are displayed, ensuring maximum impact within their target markets.”
Ads are delivered through 4G LTE cellular networks, and the rooftop signs are equipped with contextual awareness, adapting based on factors such as location, time, weather and demographic data.
Adonix has collaborated with LED screen suppliers to develop custom, high-pixel-definition units that integrate seamlessly with urban landscapes.
“We’ve designed screens that are functional, visually appealing, and contribute to the aesthetics of our cities,” said Cross.
The platform’s initial rollout will see 500 screens deployed in Sydney and Melbourne in the next 18 months, with further expansion into other metro areas planned.
To initiate their launch, Adonix partnered with Claxon to deliver campaigns to some of Australia’s biggest brands.
Claxon account director Brodie Carr he jumped at the opportunity to trial Adonix with Dymocks.
"It’s a highly valued new format, and we’re excited to have been a launch client," said Carr.
