After 12 years with media agency Carat, most recently as its CMO, Adriana Colaneri has left for an MD spot at Dentsu Aegis Network’s full-service global content agency, The Story Lab.
The 2015-founded agency is described as a global investor, producer and distributor of premium entertainment content and has been distributing “successful prime-time TV shows and delivering innovative content investment, partnerships and monetization solutions to advertisers”.
As well as CMO, Colaneri was a member of the Carat Australia Executive Leadership Team. It’s thought that Carat CEO Paul Brookes is close to securing a replacement for Colaneri.
President of Dentsu Aegis Network’s investment division Amplifi, Greg Brown, says he’s pleased to have found the right candidate for this role within Dentsu Aegis Network.
“The Story Lab is a key agency for Dentsu Aegis Network as we combine our marketing and commercial expertise to innovate the supply chain of storytelling,” Brown says.
“Adriana brings exceptional marketing, media and leadership experience to the role, and comes on board to lead The Story Lab at an exciting time of growth and development for the agency.
“It’s an exciting time as we roll out a new content vision, and having worked at Viacom and content businesses in London it’s great to work with Adriana in this space.”
Colaneri says she looks forward to reshaping The Story Lab offering here in Australia, at a time when the business is moving into new frontiers globally.
“Today’s brands are seeking new ways to connect with their audiences. I will be working closely with the team to help our client partners tell interesting stories about their brands through the power of effective content.
“I am personally and professionally delighted that I can progress in the next stage of my career within the Network and remain close to the Carat team.”
