Canterbury-Bankstown Council launches OOH bus shelter tender

Canterbury-Bankstown Council is seeking a partner to replace its advertising funded bus shelter program.

The public tender will close March 25 with an appointment expected Jun 30.

The appointed supplier will have exclusive rights to advertise on bus shelters and will replace existing bus shelters brand new bus shelters that is DDA and AS1428 compliant.

Other elements of the tender include:

  • Each bus shelter to be powered, glazed, routinely cleaned and maintained, with speedy incident responses;
  • Consistency of shelter design across the City; 
  • A commercial return to Council linked to advertising revenue generated; and
  • Pricing for the supply, installation, cleaning and servicing of new non-advertising bus shelters.

The tender weighting is estimated 40% price and 60% non-price.
