Cannes Lions 2023 - Winners final day

Australia and New Zealand winners at Cannes Lions on day five:

The Monkeys, Part of Accenture Song, picked up a Grand Prix for its work with the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu.

Howatson+Company was named Independent Agency of the Year - Good.

“It’s a wonderful recognition of our team at Howatson+Company, but most especially this award is for the people at Maurice Blackburn who have worked tirelessly for years to represent the rights of refugees and other marginalised groups," founder Chris Howatson told AdNews

The EXHIBIT A-I campaign, about the unlawful detention of refugees in offshore camps, was created by Howatson+Company for law firm Maurice Blackburn 

Special, Auckland, New Zealand was named the Independent Agency of the Year - Strategy.

In the  2023 Young Lions, Australian copywriters Casey Clarke and Zac Nairnat at Dig won Gold for Digital for Little Learners League.

In PR, Silver went to Millie Clout and Bella Hayes at Howatson+Company for Pay Zero Sale.
