Brisbane-based Carbon Creative today launches its part of a $30 million public health campaign about the coronavirus.
The creative agency's national communication campaign for COVID-19 starts with social media and radio before it expands across platforms.
The federal Health Department:
"The campaign has been developed to ensure timely, factual and consistent information to empower people to adopt behaviours that will prevent and mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19.
"Messages will target all Australians, but will particularly focus on those at risk groups including older Australians and people with chronic health conditions.
"It will keep the health and aged care industry informed, promote the triage line, dedicated respiratory clinics and telehealth options for patients."
The federal government announced the campaign earlier this week with $30 million to provide practical advice on how everyone can play a part in containing the virus and stay healthy.
"The campaign will keep the health and aged care industry informed, including providing up to date clinical guidance, triaging and caring for patients, development of an app and advice to workers in looking after their own safety," said prime minister Scott Morrison.
"The information will be based on the most up to date medical advice and will be targeted at the entire community as well as high risk groups and in up to 20 languages."
