Media agency Bohemia has been reappointed to manage media strategy, planning and buying for international energy management and automation company Schneider Electric.
Bohemia had overseen media for Schneider Electric’s Australian and New Zealand businesses for four years, prior to the Schneider’s global consolidation in 2022.
After 17 months under the global alignment, Schneider Electric has decided to return its media strategy, planning, and buying to the Bohemia team.
Under Bohemia’s new remit, the agency will manage B2B and B2C media and performance strategy, planning, and buying across all channels for Schneider Electric Australia and New Zealand, and its subsidiaries, including Clipsal in Australia and PDL in New Zealand.
Schneider Electric provides equipment and solutions for homes, buildings, data centres, infrastructure, and industry. The company combines energy technologies, real-time automation, software, and services into integrated energy solutions.
It has had a presence in Australia for more than 50 years.
Schneider Australia saw value in Bohemia’s new positioning, focused on offering handcrafted, memorable media for its clients and wanted to return to the Bohemia team who understand its business and needs.
Bohemia CEO Paul Hutchison said Schneider Australia returning to Bohemia is testament to the agency's new proposition.
“Our commitment to moving people through handcrafted, memorable media is exactly what Schneider needs and wants," said Hutchison.
"We are proud to offer bespoke solutions - we don't provide clients with off-the-shelf, machine-generated media plans; every plan is handcrafted by humans, informed by data and technology, and unique to the opportunity faced by our clients in their industry.
Schneider Electric vice president global marketing – Pacific, Josette Addinall, said the partnership would support the automation company from a marketing perspective.
“I’m delighted to welcome Bohemia back into the fold and see the relationship supporting our integrated marketing program to enhance business growth," said Addinall.
The Schneider Electric win follows Bohemia’s recent brand refresh, which was unveiled to media industry leaders in Sydney and Melbourne earlier this year.
