BMF has announced that CEO Dominic Stinton has left the agency, and that it has promoted Steve McArdle as MD and Christina Aventi as executive planning director in response.
Stinton joined the agency in May 2013 and has left following a decision to return to the UK for personal reasons.
BMF will not be looking for a new CEO with McArdle, Aventi and executive creative director Cam Blackley working closely together as the executive team.
McArdle has been at BMF for more than three years as managing partner. He previously worked at several UK agencies including M&C Saatchi, TBWA and CHI & Partners.
Aventi has held strategic planning roles for close to 10 years and returns from a sabbatical to take up her new role.
BMF executive chairman Matthew Melhuish said: “It is always wonderful to be able to promote from within and both Steve and Christina are outstanding choices for their new roles”.
Stinton said he leaves the agency “more confident in BMF than ever”.
“The team is making absolutely brilliant work for our clients,” Stinton said. “BMF has a great buzz and energy about it and the current team has my utmost respect. I know they will continue to achieve great results."
