Partnership management platform impact.com has named Emma-Jayne (EJ) Owens senior director of community and enablement for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
Owens will lead all external and internal stakeholder training, advocacy and community enablement activities across APJ, with a remit to educate and inspire the marketing industry via external thought leadership roundtables, partner and customer networking events, internal sales coaching, as well as accelerating the adoption of impact.com’s industry certification program, Partnerships Experience Academy.
Most recently, she was MD for APAC at Blis, where she expanded revenue in key APAC markets and launched omnichannel and programmatic revenue streams. She was also previously CCO at Australian Radio Network, and held senior leadership positions at Big Mobile and ninemsn (MI9).
Owens said what excites her the most about this role is the opportunity to combine her industry leadership and coaching experience with a passion for people and connection, which is what the Partnership Economy is all about.
“I’m looking forward to building programs, events and initiatives that deepen industry knowledge and help inspire and upskill the next generation of partnership marketing leaders," she said.
Impact.com's APAC MD, Adam Furness, said the company is bringing in a leader of Owens' pedigree because it is committed to driving the advancement of the partnership economy across APJ.
“Her expertise in building high-impact industry relationships and education programs will be instrumental as we continue to empower our community of brands, agencies and publishers to unlock growth through affiliate, influencer and customer referral marketing — especially critical as the industry navigates rising customer acquisition costs and tighter marketing budgets," he said.
