Retail giant BIG W is pitching for its creative account, AdNews can confirm.
The shortlist is understood to be down to three agencies.
It is not clear if incumbent M&C Saatchi is defending the account but sources say the account is likely to move.
BIG W's last campaign promoted its Toys for Joy initiative, an in-store recycling program that helps to prevent broken and battered toys from ending up in landfill.
M&C Saatchi also held parent company Woolworths Group's creative account since 2016 which saw the formation of a bespoke agency Greenhouse Collective form.
The BIG W account does not sit under Greenhouse Collective.
BIG W and M&C Saatchi gave no comment.
