Ben Shepherd jumps to dentsu ANZ

Ben Shepherd has been appointed chief investment officer of dentsu ANZ’s media portfolio, supporting the Carat, iProspect and dentsu X brands, reporting to CEO Danny Bass.

He was most recently at Bain & Company, leading the FRWD marketing and customer experience practice across Australia and New Zealand.

He has also worked for OMD Australia, CHE Proximity and PwC Australia. His work has been recognised at MFA Awards, Festival of Media APAC and IAB Awards.

Melanie McDonald, currently general manager of investment for the dentsu media group, has been promoted to chief commercial officer.

McDonald, with dentsu for nearly 31 years, is looking forward to taking on new responsibilities. 

Shepherd starts January 16.
