Staff from Omnicom creative agency Clemenger BBDO have slowly exited the business as the agency prepares to merge with CHEP Network and activation agency Traffik at the end of March.
The latest being BBDO chief growth officer Anita Zanesco, adding to other exits chief creative officer Adrián Flores and CEO Dani Bassil.
Despite being announced in February, the merger's logistics has taken weeks to roll out to staff, last Thursday an agency-wide All Hands was called to inform staff of such logistics changes.
Edit: All Hands meetings have been hosted weekly by CEO Lee Leggett since the merger announcement to update employees on the process.
AdNews understands a leadership announcement will be coming out next week.
Industry insiders told AdNews they are expecting more BBDO staff to not transfer over to the new agency.
Anita Zanesco left the business two weeks ago.
“Anita has played a significant role in lifting the agency’s profile, supporting new capabilities and opening doors to new client opportunities during her time with us,” Clemenger BBDO spokesperson told AdNews.
"We thank Anita for her efforts and wish her all the best."
At the time of the merger announcement Clemenger Group CEO Les Timar said the merger "is not about doing more with less. This is all about doing more with more.”
