The 2022 Repco Bathurst 1000 broke records for the Foxtel Group with more than 62.5 million minutes streamed during The Great Race – the highest of any Supercars event in history.

The major Australian event was the second highest performing Supercars race of all time across the Foxtel Group with an average audience of 524,000 tuning in across Foxtel and streaming platforms Kayo Sports, Foxtel NOW and Foxtel GO – up 9% on 2021.

Kayo Sports saw more than 103.7 million streamed hours throughout Bathurst week with dedicated programming available live and on demand on Fox Sports from October 3-10.

Steve Crawley, executive director for Fox Sports, said: "Bathurst continues to be a race that revs up fans right around the country.

With Jessica Yates, 6-times Bathurst champion Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton heading world-class coverage it’s always a highlight of the year and just keeps getting better. Great to see another bumper Bathurst for the home of Motorsport in Australia.”

The penultimate event of the 2022 season will take place on the Gold Coast October 28-30 with practice, qualifying and the race broadcast live on Fox Sports, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports.

Motorsport coverage also continues this weekend with the MOTOGP making its long-awaited return to Phillip Island. Australian Jack Miller is back in contention for the World Championship and has the chance of claiming his first home win. It will be broadcast live from 8.55am tomorrow on Fox Sports, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports
