Corporate affairs agency Bastion Reputation has recognised and rewarded three experienced staff with promotions to new positions,

Former elite sports senior communicator and journalist Jeremy Arnold has been promoted to the new role of associate principal consultant and joins Reputation’s senior leadership group.

Arnold moved into consulting in late-2021 after senior communications roles with the Essendon Football Club and the Australian men’s cricket team, which followed his time as a journalist with Network 10.

Joining Arnold in the senior leadership group is experienced consultant, Andrea Robertson who has been at Bastion Reputation since October 2022.

She has been elevated to the newly-created role of director client operations and will oversee all aspects of client experience.

Further reaffirming the client-first approach is the appointment of Georgie Patterson to group client director.

Patterson joined Reputation as an intern in early 2019 and has enjoyed a rapid rise through company ranks, and in her new role will support Robertson, while also working as a senior strategist, and senior trainer within the firm’s training and capability practice area.

Bastion Reputation managing director, Clare Gleghorn, said she is proud to see three of her staff be rewarded with promotions into new roles that create exciting new opportunities for them while ensuring our clients have the best people in place to support them.

“Jeremy has really found a home in consulting and while our clients have benefitted from his vast experience in high-profile organisations, it has been impressive to watch his commitment to developing his craft and to our clients," said Gleghorn.

The creation of the associate principal consultant role further deepens the experience within the senior team and to ensure its Sydney-based clients receive the same experience, the agency is on the lookout for someone to fill that role in Sydney, said Gleghorn.

“Andrea has brought deep agency experience and client excellence to our team and this new role shows how serious our focus is on ensuring our clients have the best experience possible," she said.

“Georgie’s promotion is a fantastic recognition of her performance in our team for many years. It has been rewarding to watch her rapid rise in the team and she richly deserves this new role which will let her wide range of skills shine."
